installing ubuntu 10.04 desktop in intel dh67cl motherboard


i am trying to install ubuntu 10.04 desktop lts in INTEL DH67CL motherboard, but it is not detecting the sata hard disk. please help

Do you have AHCI mode for the disk enabled in the BIOS?
Also, 10.04 is only supported until April 2013. If you choose to use the newer 12.04 LTS you will get support til 2017 and much newer drivers that should work better with your system.
