IMPS/2 Mouse on Thin Clients

I have a Edubuntu server serving clients that have a Serial Mouse(IMPS/2) and some with USB mice. The clients with USB mice work fine, but the serial mice don't work at all (Screen isn't frozen, just can't move the mouse).
Here is my /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf
Code:
[default]
    X_COLOR_DEPTH=16
    LOCALDEV=True
    SOUND=True
    NBD_SWAP=True
    SYSLOG_HOST=server
I tried adding
Code:
X_MOUSE_DEVICE          = /dev/input/mice
X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL        = auto
X_MOUSE_EMULATE3BTN    = True
But to no effect.
Can someone help me get this working? I could just put USB cards in the clients and use USB mice, but I prefer trying to get this to work first.

Hi ctkroeker try:

X_MOUSE_DEVICE = /dev/ttySX (X=0,1,2 etc)

Good luck!

I tried these separately
Code:
X_MOUSE_DEVICE          = /dev/ttyS0
X_MOUSE_DEVICE          = /dev/ttyS1
X_MOUSE_DEVICE          = /dev/ttyS4 (supposed to be
                             default for serial mice)
X_MOUSE_DEVICE          = /dev/mouse
Didn't work, but it doesn't matter. I think I'll but a couple of PS/2 or USB cards in there. The Serial mice we have aren't in the best condition anyways.
Thanks.
