There is no "/download.html" but there is http://grsecurity.net/download.php.

You haven't told us which kernel version you are using, if you downloaded the plain vanilla kernel version from kernel.org and if it downloaded OK (GPG sig, hash). Same for the GRSec version you're using (stable?, test?) and if you tested downloads against spender's GPG sig (http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Grsecurity). If you run Ubuntu 12.04 you may also see http://sourceforge.net/projects/ubuntugrsec/ but YMMV(VM).

Hmmm, I suspect that this approach will limit your rate of progress:
  • You seem to be very close to asking for a manual to be written for you. This could be considered to be a bit of an imposition as use of a search engine shows a number of documents of this nature on-line already. Have you followed one of these documents and have problems (what document? which problems? following which section of the document?) or have you not done this?
  • You have been asked questions in an attempt to focus on what is critical to this case (...rather than having to write a general purpose manual...). So far, you have not answered any of the questions. This will not necessarily help as people are very likely to wait for those answers before proceeding, or are likely to ask the same questions again, in order to get a response. Neither speed things up, so you should make some effort to avoid this.

(Note: Here is an example of the kind of thing that can be found on-line with almost zero effort. Now this concerns Debian rather than the version of Ubuntu that you have (which?), but that should present little difficulty. It also goes rather further than you are currently going. Note also that adding the term 'Ubuntu' to the rather obvious search string to give "grsecurity kernel patching ubuntu" also turns up lots of hits, possibly of even more relevance.)
