how to mount usb flash drive, in fiesty


plugged in flash drive but it doesn't show up anywhere
i checked in amarok, thinking it might show up there but no luck
just wanted to move some files onto this flash drive
just installed fiesty last week and haven't had any problems until now
what next, what must i do to get fiesty to recognize this drive and where do i look for it, appreciate any help
haven't used linux in while and just starting over with it

Is it USB?

try lsusb to see if its listed. Also dmesg as it may throw up why its not working.

high speed usb

after reading some of the post, i decided to use an old 512mb
flash drive 1.1speed, and it was recognized right away
guess i need to put in a 2.0 usb card to solve my problem
appreciate some feed back
