How does Ubuntu see itś left handed cursors?

In Ubuntu it great because I can use left handed mouse cursors (I left handed).

In Arch however, If I copy over, say, the whiteglass folder and its cursors from Ubuntu into my Arch partition, Gnome only sees the right-handed ones.

Does anybody know how Ubuntu see the left handed ones and what I need to do to get Arch to see them?

Cheers.
