Exclamation How can I upgrade from Ubuntu 12.04 to Ubuntu 12.04.1?

How can I upgrade from Ubuntu 12.04 to Ubuntu 12.04.1? I have tried the "Update Manager" method and it is not working; it is not displaying an upgrade message.

You already are on ubuntu 12.04.1 if you regularly update your system. The cd install of 12.04.1 is actually 12.04 with the updates that came since april. The point of that cd is for users who install it now not to have to spend lots of time updating.

If you go into terminal and do the following: lsb_release -a
What version does it say there under Description?

Run Update Manager or the following terminal commands:

Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
