Have DVDshrink, finished encoding. What now?

Hey everyone!

I installed DVDshrink on my Windows partition AND on ubuntu.

My question is... What comes next after encoding (copying the dvd to my HD)?

On windows, I have a folder named 'Video_ts'. inside that folder are ten VOB files that, according to the dvdshrink documentation are ready to burn.

I have NERO but dont know what to select in order to burn these VOB files to a dvd in order to be able to watch them.

Thanks!

in nero, depending on the version, choose to burn a video DVD and just drag & drop the VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS (if you have it) on to nero. simple

Well, I'll give that a shot! It's just that usually when you choose an option in Nero, eg, "Burn disc Image", once you point to the folder that holds the image, it will show up in the "Look in" dialog box.

These VOB files do not show up when I browse for them with Nero.

Thanks My Friend!

There is an option to make a .iso in DVDshrink; you have to set that option do burn it in nero as a disc image.

I do that becuse it's easier imo (one file instead of multiple folders/files)

If I were to burn it as an .iso to a blank dvd, can I then just slip into my dvdrom and watch the movie?

(like burning a linux iso?)
