firefox28 in ubuntu14.04lts?

Hi guys; anybody here has problems with Firefox 28 in ubuntu 14.04LTS?
i have been having problems lately, only after the LTS 17 april with some video live streaming sports like ESPN3, the video is in HD but still freezing like legging type, i installed Google Chrome and it doesn't do that, i assume firefox 28 is causing the issue, i 've been running Ubuntu 14.04 for more than 3 months now with firefox and it was allays great, i wonder why now?
shouldn't it be better after April instead of being worse,i don't know the hell what's going on?

I fixed mine changing video drivers. If driver issue is not the problem for you. rename ~/.mozzila folder to ~/.mozzilabackup and restart firefox to see if things improve. Any bookmarks or info lost can be grabbed from backup folder.

Thanks but i installed Google chrome and it works great, exept that dam keying password notification, i hate it, and can't get rid of it, but none of those lagging issues, so i unistalled firefox for now till people from ubuntu or firefox folks get it strait,i had ubuntu 12.04 then 13.04,13.10 and 14.04 beta and never happend these issues only after 17th april with the LTS release, i think they screwed up, i'll keep Chrome for now it works mighty fine, and i have to do nothing.

I had problems too.

Similar problems plus others, led me to uninstall Firefox and download/install from the Mozilla web site .... all problems went away.

Update,i finely got fed up with Ubuntu 14.04 and the Video Streaming issue, since i did not like Chrome so today i got rid of Ubuntu 14.04 and installed on this same machine
Xubuntu 14.04 and don't have none of those streaming issues with Firefox or XBMC it runs great so far,
