recently i imaged my whole disk using ddrescue what i need to know is how to extract a specific partition from the image.
please consider i am new to ubuntu
thanks in advance
i did the
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ man kpartx
and the output is the kpartx manual i read it and then
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo kpartx /media/0dc97525-2005-4d65-b7db-77ca2f0721a0/recovery/image
the output is nothing
and followed them with the
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ ls -al /dev/mapper
and this is the output
total 0
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 60 Jul 26 11:53 .
drwxr-xr-x 16 root root 4340 Jul 26 12:16 ..
crw------- 1 root root 10, 236 Jul 26 11:54 control
thanks but i dont know what to do next
