Unhappy Error When Installing Beryl "Dependency is not satisfiable" Heliodor

Im trying to install Beryl on ubuntu 7.10 but I get this error


"Dependency is not satisfiable" Heliodor


any idea how to solve the problem??

Have you tried compiz ? Beryl is being phased out I think, or rather, they are merging the projects under the compiz name.

when i get that, i manually install all dependencies. Try that.

thxxx That compix worked out just fine ! thxxxxx

but mmmm guys I have had a problem with ubuntu 7.10 always, I can not enable any graphical effects, It gives me the error: "Desktop Effects Could not be enabled"....

With previews versions and the 8.04 as well it enables the effects with no problem.
any idea on how to solve that one?

go into restricted driver management and check that any restricted drivers for you graphics card are in use,

i can only have desktop effects while the NVIDIA driver is in use
