enlarge /dev/sda1

So I upgraded to Natty, 11.04, and I was customizing it when it stopped booting. I decided, not to worry and did a fresh install from CD, splitting the 320gig HDD in half and doing away with the no longer used XP and Mepis partitions. I am almost finished moving all my files and directories when I notice that I´m low on storage.

I fire it up on the GParted Live CD and to my dismay I shrink sda8 and have 116.32gigs of free space... but alas, I cannot find a method, using GParted to enlarge sda1 to include the, now, free space. I have attached a screenshot and by the way, I want to do away with all the SWAPs when I finish moving my directories, leaving only one.

Thank you, in advance for any help because I don seem to find what I need in the Documentation.

Before being able to enlarge sda1 you have to shrink the logical partition sda2, which contains your other partitions. Point your mouse-cursor to the leftmost border of the cyan box surrounding your other partitions and drag it to the right. After that you should be able to resize sda1.
