Default soundcard changed from Creative Soundblaster to On-board HDAudio.

Hello, I'm rather new with Linux in itself, and was happily using Kubuntu for the last two days. However, now the default soundcard option has changed, and I have no idea how to put it back the way I want it.

Soundcards in system shown by the "less /proc/asound/modules" Konsole

0 snd_hda_intel
1 snd_ca0106
2 snd_hda_intel

The snd_ca0106 is what I want as default.

Is there anyway I can perhaps remove the other two from the list, and only have my actual sound card in the expansion bay being used?

As a side note, I actually had the on-board sound disabled before I installed Linux, when I was using Vista.

If anymore information is required, I can provide more that I can based on my ability.

I'd like to say that this issue I have managed to resolve.

For some stupid reason, the on-board audio re-activated itself. Possibly at a time that my soundcard "blew up" while working in Vista.

Didn't really blow up, but it caused Vista to freeze.

So, thanks to those who may have been thinking of a way to fix this.
