How I install debianutils_2.11.2_i386.deb? the output is E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) I try upgrade to Edgy?

I try make update from dapper to Edgy. And the upgrade stops in the midlle... I think I can not install any deb package. What can I do?

You usually see that error when a file contained in one package is in another package so with seeing the complete error from you try dpkg -i --force-overwrite debianutils_2.11.2_i386.deb in the /var/cache/apt/archives/ directory then dpkg --configure -a to get the unconfigured packages when the error happened.
