Custom Xubuntu (Xfce) Applications Menu

I am using Xubuntu 17.10 and its panel applications menu (not the Whisker menu, but that difference probably doesn't matter). I spent some time customizing the menu with the menu editor that comes with the OS to move things around the way they make sense to me. I would like to be able to save this customization, which must be possible because when you right click on the applications menu icon and select properties there is an option to use the default menu or a custom one. Try as I may, I have been unable to learn how to save my custom menu or where such a menu is generally stored. Any answers from Xfce experts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

it is saved already.
you can probably find it somewhere under ~/.config/xfce.
or maybe it's all in dconf settings?

Thanks, ondoho

Thanks, ondoho. It makes sense that it is already saved in my installation, of course, and I rummaged around in the folders you suggested. Thanks for the input. I still haven't found it, but I'll keep looking around.

Was provided this link on the Xfce forum: https://wiki.xfce.org/howto/customize-menu

This is now resolved.
