could i install ubuntu from harddisk ?


hi folks,
my cdrom can not read ubuntu cd as my cdrom drive si so what old, so could i install ubuntu from the harddist, how ??

there is no reason for your ubuntu cd not being read by your cdrom. you could try specifying the burning speed to 8x and it should work out.
I dont think there is a way to install from the hdd, unless you do it with vmware.

w3bd3vil: i made it 24x, but rather being not operational, it becomes unbootable!!
what is vmware ??

3.) Select Hard Drive Installation
4.) Enter in the location of the ISO then begin.
no 2 is not applicable with me, the cd starts but show me i/o error
