Cant share printer with cups

I have a brother hl-2030 printer and it works out of the box. But theres an error or something in cups.
I have shared the printer, but the client computer cant see it.
I was messing around with it, and found that when i restarted cups, the client could see it!
I just dont get it. Everything looks fine, and as far as i can see, cups is started at boot time.
Is this a bug or just me being stupid?
