apache2 install perl

How to install perl on apache2?

I have looked around and couldn't find a post that had a solution that worked for me. I have got apache2-mod-perl2 and when I goto localhost Iam asked to download "PL" file?

Thanks

I got it to work. Just incase anyone else has this problem:

Install apache2-mod-perl2 (I think its that) using the package manager program

then open up apache2.conf and add somewhere
<Files ~ "\.pl$">
Options +ExecCGI
</Files>

Find
AddHandler CGI-script .cgi
Or similar, Uncomment that line and also add .pl

If anyone still has problems, I solved my problem by going here
http://www.ubuntuforums.org/archive/...p/t-16578.html

Above I summerized how I solved the problem, since that link is alot of reading.
