a little swap help please encryption

HI- I have too many lines in my fstab.
How can I get rid of lines 1 and 3 from automtically appearing?
thanks!

I was trying to do lvm at first but made an error. Then I found a tutorial for no lvm and as a swap file that is mounted in fstab.
https://www.digitalocean.com/communi...n-ubuntu-14-04

here is the link on what I am trying to do:
http://iwtf.net/2010/01/05/encryptin...wap-partition/

I don't have to overwrite any data. Brand new install with no ecommerce passwords typed.

[/etc/fstab]
/dev/mapper/xubuntu--vg-swap_1 none swap sw 0 $
/dev/mapper/cryptswap1 none swap sw 0 0
/swapfile none swap sw 0 0

thanks for any assistance!

Hi-
I guess this is good news!
I think what was slowing me down is I had to do swap off and swap on to make changes in the fstab.
Please let me know if this is cool.
Thanks-

/dev/mapper/cryptoswap is active and is in use.
type: PLAIN
