It is rather entertaining. It looks like he's going crazy trying to find someone to blame because his ego could never handle the thought of him being to blame and also the @$$hole.
He is mostly using the immature psychological defense mechanism known as projection ... one's own faults onto others.
I'm glad he did it, maybe Linus will understand Pottering and his motives better with this.
