I just gave your new MATE 8.1 a very quick run through and will give you huge credit for its as you professed "Lightening Speed". Until now I have not found a Linux OS that compares with the speed of your recent release which was hugely exciting. I have every intention to give it a much more thorough look through in near future.
That said, as much as I was thrilled with its initial performance, I was equally extremely disappointed in your lead on promotion saying "Runs Windows Virus Free!" within the OS, then you tell users if download your OS, they are "Required" to join the "ROSSF" foundation you created for a nominal $2. Worse yet, you then push the user through app links within your OS to your website, forcing them to pay the "Donation" to use the installer features. This was not huge only a let down, but a complete turn off. In my opinion and knowledge of Linux, this goes against the grain of the "FREE" and "Open Source" movement.
I also see here on this thread to the "Read More" in your description, that you never mentioned the "Windows" features of the OS, nor did you show any screen shot referencing the same. Your Youtube channel Links to below clearly state his in their titles.

One more thing, if you decide to take down the videos, and this post, I have screen shots uploaded of the Youtube videos and the tour page on this thread.
Lastly, I am not against you wanting to be compensated for your work, but Linux is not the platform to do it with. You may have built some exceptional features to your OS, but it was clearly started with an existing base distro. What is truly sad, if properly promoted, I believe you would have done far better with financial support through "Volunteer Donations" than the way you have chosen. Believe me, its not about the minimal cost, or the specific features, it's the principal that has me frustrated and a bit angered.
I wish you well, you are a very talented young man!
