Is that the same Microsoft who turned their nose up at Linux? Something along the lines of "So certainly we think of Linux as a competitor in the student and hobbyist market. But I really do not think in the commercial market, we'll see it compete with Windows in any significant way."? The same Microsoft who tried to push OEMs to lock their hardware down so only Windows could run? And then nickle and dime anyone else who wanted to boot?

highlights) in the past, please forgive me if I think Microsoft is trying to keep their friends close and their enemies closer.
