It'll be a good, cheap alternative, once they get the software drivers written,
At the moment, the EDID monitor information isn't being read & parsed properly - the RPi3 series work well, but not the Rpi4 yet, on my monitors.
I hate those tiny micro sized SDHC cards - so I'm awaiting USB boot, just like on my RPi3 boards.
Another thing with the RPi4, it runs a lot hotter than the RPi3 do - it doesn't seem to like being in the small enclosed cases like the RPi3 use.
