I liked it ... Somewhere between this position and the earlier LXer feed about Eric Raymond and the mean RTFMers, probably lies the truth.

That is the only way your going to ever learn it. You can't learn Linux but clicking icons and having the let's try this and maybe it will work attitude. It can be very cryptic and the only way to get it is to read, read, read...

I don't mind helping at all but like the saying goes. Sooner or later your going to have to learn to catch your own fish.

Refering someone in the right direction on where they can find the answer is much better then just telling them.

Just a thought.
