The application seems pretty cool but the install instructions are missing some detail. The dependencies it mentioned removed Jack (which I can do without at the moment) on my PC and I had to install the generic "ruby-dev" package also.
I had to install the "curses" gem and I also installed the "canvas" gem though I don't know enough about the errors given by Ruby to know whether I needed the "canvas" gem.
