LXer: antiX 15 Beta 1 Screenshot Tour

Published at LXer:

antiX 15 beta1-V available for testing. This is a 32-bit antiX full using SysVInit (hence the V) and some repackaged debs for 'nosystemd', e.g CUPS, dBUS. The ISO image is 701 MB so testers will have to overburn the CD. Custom 3.19.1 Linux kernel; addition of alsa-sound-card to set up multiple sound cards; Debian 'Jessie' set as default; UEFI support on the live medium (no support yet in the installer); reorganised menu layout; reorganised boot menu; splash enabled at boot - to remove press F7 and choose the 'No VGA' option; improved localisation - but it still needs work; many minor bugs squashed. Please test and post issues, comment in the forums.
