Yast Problems & gFTP

I'm trying to install gFTP through Yast and I receive the following error.

ERROR(InstTarget:E_RpmDB_subprocess_failed)
---
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /opt/gnome/bin/gftp;426ef56d: cpio: open failed - Input/output error

2005-04-26 22:14:38 gftp-2.0.17-2.1.i586.rpm install failed
rpm output:
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /opt/gnome/bin/gftp;426ef58b: cpio: open failed - Input/output error

2005-04-26 22:16:37 gftp-2.0.17-2.1.i586.rpm install failed
rpm output:
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /opt/gnome/bin/gftp;426ef601: cpio: open failed - Input/output error

Is the problem the i586? I tried this install using different ftp mirrors and get the same result.

I am using Yast for the add. The source of the install is a FTP site since my original install was not the pro version.

Do you have the pro version?

Why do the files say i586? The FTP site is looking at the 386 directory.

I do have the Pro version of SuSE 9.3. Can you install via this method?

This has turned to a dumb problem. I don't use Gnome and can't use gFTP. I should have read a little more. Thanks - sorry about the dumb quest.
