Yast and TTF's


i understand i can download and install ttf's from yast.....now i have seen it in online update i have checked the box even though the package size was labelled as 0 and it started to install upto 50% then everytime it stops anyone else have this problem?

or anyone know how to fix it?

This is a patch, not a package.

If you read the blurb, it tells you that this runs a script to download and install freely available TTF fonts from various locations on the web.

Because these are installed as a script, not using YaST or RPM, they can't be uninstalled; this also causes the 0 size (which refers to the size of the script in kb, not the size of the installed TTFs).

It will eventually finish and install the fonts but (again, because it runs a script) it won't give you any progress indication. If I remember correctly, it took about an hour on my slow dial-up connection.

yeah it eventually finished after 5hrs on a 10mb connection
