Yast

Yes, I'm Running SUSE 9.0. Is anybody having problems when in Yast, you choose anything and it does nothing.....Example: I click on Security and Users, it just sits there and finally it goes in....Then i click on edit and create groups and it never goes in....

It works OK for me. Sometimes it's a little slow, but I've never had it stop completely.

But GUIs are often tricky. If they have an error, or they're waiting for a resource, they don't necessarily let the user know.

if you're using kde, down by the clock is an icon "susewatcher", click and select "check for updates". when it's done it should say "new updates available" click "start online update" and follow the prompts, or you can start online update thru yast2.
