xseeion on linux suse 9


I have installed linux suse 9 on my pc , but xsesion does not working. what do i have to do to make xsesion working.

A general remark: a little more information would be helpful!

I am not completely sure what you mean by xsesion, but I assume you would like to run linux in graphical mode.

There are several possibilities. It would help if you could explain what you have done and what error messages (if any) you get).

First try: type 'startx' and see if the x server starts.

If it fails, login as root and type 'init 3', then 'sax2' to configure graphics.
