While using CloneZilla I received the following two messages

While backing up XP drive (sda) I got:
Disabling lock debugging due to kernel taint. Machine check events logged.

While backing up SuSE 11.4 (sdb) I got:
Machine check events logged.

Both messages happened 4-5 times on both drives...creating an image continued and CloneZilla said it completed successfully for both drives.
I have not changed anything hardware/software since I installed 11.4...I have never seen these two messages and have been using same system with CZ for several years....What gives?

http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=50124 suggests it is an error that may or may not be readable.

Does it otherwise complete and did you chance to test it?

Some sites suggest some hardware issue maybe related to bios timings or maybe memory issues. My guess is there either has been some change to clonezilla that is causing it or some fail on your system.

I updated CloneZilla (maybe weeks/months ago - dont recall) to the latest version and have used it a couple of times with no error message...The backup/cloning process completes successfully but no I have not tested the images of either XP or Suse 11.4. How do I test them?...didnt know I could do that...Also do you know if there is a manual/pdf/online for CloneZilla?...I have checked their homepage but havent found any useful documentation...please advise and thanks again.
