Which directories to scan for viruses?

Hi folks,

Hopefully this will be a fairly easy question to answer!

When setting up a scheduled (or manual) virus scan, which directories should the scan include?

Not knowing where these things might be hiding, I don't know where to look for them, but equally I feel that scanning the whole system could be a bit extreme and time-consuming.

I'm using F-Prot (which installs like a charm and integrates beautifully with Kmail, by the way) and SUSE 10 OSS.

Thanks

James.

Ummm. You don't actually have to scan for viruses. Linux is currently pretty immune. Usually you just set it up to scan your email as it comes in so that you don't pass it on to your windows friends. I guess you could scan any directories you download stuff via peer2peer if you're into that...
