Trying to install a movie editor on 10.3 64 bit

Hi, I'm trying to get some sort of movie editor up & running, but keep getting conflicts - anyone got any idea what I can do? I get similar results with LiVES or OpenMovieEditor

This is what I get from YAST

### YaST2 conflicts list - generated 2008-03-14 16:37:16 ####

(null)
Conflict Resolution:
( ) Install libquicktime although it would change the architecture
( ) Install libquicktime although it would change the vendor
( ) do not install dvgrab
( ) Ignore this requirement just here

You're trying to install a package that is for the i586 architecture, and it's listing dependencies that are 32-bit. Can you not find a 64-bit package for these editors?

Edit: Nevermind, I misread the output. These editors are requiring libquicktime in i586 architecture, and you probably have libquicktime installed in x86_64.

I would verify that you actually have libquicktime.so.0 on your system, and if you don't, then just install the i586 version.

AH! the problem was dvgrab - for some reason the linker was trying to use the 586 version. By manually selecting & installing dvgrab first in yast, I was then able to install lives after. Now to see if it works!
