suse YOU problem

Suse 9.1 Pro (purchased)

when attempting to use YOU the server list loads fine but then when I hit next I get this error:

Signature check for patch info files failed.
Cannot load patch information.
Patch:

note after Patch: there is nothing listed.. no patch name. Progress bar never even starts!

I did some looking and everything I found via google searches with this error DO have something listed after Patch:. A specific file name like xfree86-blah-blah.gz. The suggested solution was to update Suse's rpm signature files. And in one case a users date was wrong and that cause the problem.

my date is correct, so thats out. I did not try to update the signature files yet because I wanted to get more info first and some opinions from people who know what they are doing in the linux world.

the plot thickens. I suspect its my proxy server. I'm connecting from a network that is behind a Microsoft ISA server. (proxy server 3.0 with a new name) I think this may have something to do with it.

any advice? How should I proceed to get to the bottom of this?

thanks.
