Unhappy Suse trying to mount USB drive twice

After updating to kde 3.5 it seems like my box is trying to mount USB drive twice. 1 of the mount locations is correct and it mounts properly, the other one does not and KDE gives me an error saying device already mounted according to MTAB. It happens with both my drives and everytime. Though I have no problems with it, I can still go to the other location and use the device, it's kindof strange that it's trying to mount the device at another location everytime.
Any ideas guys??

Agree! But the above problem is strange anyway.

I observed something similar, but not identical:

After the KDE update (3.4->3.5), the usual SUSEplugger window pops up when I plug-in my USB devices, asking me if I would like it to open with konqueror. But now another KDE window opens and asks the same question (looks more like the respective Windows dialog).
I can say yes to both questions, without ending in a conflict. SUSEplugger accesses the drive on /media/usbdisk and KDE on system:/media/sdb1 (where ever that is).

teacher_japan: is there an entry in /etc/fstab, that could cause the redundancy with subfs? In that case I would delete the entry and leave the mounting to subfs.

identical

Actually it is an identical problem. I did the update too. Before that everything was ok...after that, things went to hell.

However, I did go back and repaired some things, however kde doesn't seem as stable as it was

I solved the problem by telling the 'KDE'plugger-thing not to do anything in the future (there was a checkbox). Since then, only the SUSEplugger does its job.
