Suse installation


I wonder if anyone can help, on installing suse 10.1 or suse sled i start installation it gets to the point of installing all the software then installs it then goes for reboot at reboot it gets to the part of booting after splash screen and stops with a black screen it says something like booting from disk and comes to a standstill, i have used the dvds before to install and had no problem ? has anyone else had problems the same? currently im using suse 10 and this dvd works ok no problems on installation.

Did you try to update or a new Installation?

Tip
Try this before Install press F3, then screen settings F3 again, change to 1024 x 768 this can solve your problems!

I ended up downloading suse 10.1 again and putting it on a fresh dvd and its behaved properly this time, thanks for the reply.I forgot to say it was a fresh install everytime.
