SuSE 9.3 and Wireless ACX111 based device (Trendnet)

Device: ACX111 based device (Trendnet's TEW-423PI 802.11g 54mbps PCI)

OS: SuSE 9.3 Pro.
uname -r: 2.6.11.4-20a-default

After installation of SuSE 9.3 Pro. I wired to Ethernet router and updated all updates and installed including ACX111 driver.

Great wireless card works fine. Now the problem is:

1. I am unable to activate WEP 64 bit encryption! (default key is 0 - s:xxxxx(ascii) same as routers 1 - xxxxx(ascii) ).
2. The "iwlist wlan0 scan" displays 11Mbps transmission rate. Where as it should be 54 Mbps!

How to secure my wireless connection?

Any help will be greatful. Thanks.
