Question SUSE 9.2 hangs on shutdown - PCMCIA fatal error... Any suggestions?

Greetings all...
Relative noob with Linux, but been around computers since before big blue had a desktop...<crikes> Anyway, just installed suse 9.2 on an Averatec 6240 laptop. AMD64, 512mb RAM, SiS video/combo controller. Everything works great except the wireless (which I am certain ndiswrapper should fix) and the PCMCIA seems to not function. Is this due to the newness of the chipset/board and is a driver issue, or do I need to manually configure something? Any thoughts would be appreciated...

Cheers,

Dartagnan687
