suse 10.1 printing problem with HP printer.

Hi all,
Since I have Suse10.1 last year, I was not able to print.
My printer is a HP laserJet 1020. When I connect my laptop to it, and try to print something, the printer has no response at all.
I opened YAST->Hardware->Printer, the configuration says:
printer model : hp laserjet 1022.
THis is not the exact match, but it is the cloesest one. In the HP printer model list Suse provides, there is also a LaserJet 1015, but there is no model between 1015 and 1022.
I do not know what to do in this situation. Can someone help me out?
