suse 10.1 : need gcc 3.3.4


hi,

anyone know if there is a gcc-compat package for gcc 3.3.4 for suse 10.1? i'm updating some plugins for Maya 7, and if i compile them with gcc 4 they bomb

see http://en.opensuse.org/Qemu_with_kqe...module_support for a link and explaination of how to install

and remember "WARNING: Do NOT configure it with the default prefix! It is recommended to compile it with this prefix else you can damage your system!"

thanks! worked fine. it turns out building GCC from source is not nearly as scary as one would think.
