Sound in KDE gone after update to 3.3.2

I have updated my suse 9.2 to kde 3.3.2. and after the update the sound notifications wont play. Sound works fine in amarok and other applications. But when pressing the play button on a sound action in system notifications no sound comes out. Any ideas on how to get this working again.
