Small, but annoying SuSE/KDE problem

Hey,

I don't have a large resolution on my screen, and the default icon size from the KDE main menu is too big for me to display all the entries in one row. Having it split over two rows is annoying -- but when I try to change the options via the KDE Config Center (icons), the options are GREYED OUT. Bah. "root" gets have have tiny icons, why can't normal users? This would be nice to fix. Running SuSE 9.1 and an upgraded KDE 3.3 (same problem in 3.2)

Thanks,
Kyle

There's a simple "hack" to this problem.

Open and edit the following file:

~./kde/share/config/kickerrc
In this file there's a section at the bottom that is called [menus]. There's a value (32) for an option that is called MenuEntryHight. Change this value to 15.

(you can view these kind of hidden files/folders by enable "Show Hidden Files" in Konqueror)
