Lightbulb serial UPS setup


Hello ,

I have a Upselect Greenwave UPS ,which connects using a com cable.
Anyone knows how can I make suse aware of this ????
Meaning having the ewarnings of failures and the automatic shutdown of the system

Our UPS (APC Smart-UPS 750/1000) into our Linux servers just worked - correctly understanding SIGPWR signals to shutdown + power back up. Check out http://www.uni-koeln.de/rrzk/systeme...UPS-HOWTO.html for a bit more info on getting them going. If still not going, what distro are you using?
