Saving Suse Live 10.2 settings on flash drive

Okay, first off I'd like to say how impressed I am with Suse Live and the new look. (I had 9.3) My harddrive died on my laptop and it will be a while before I am able to get a new one. So I decided to try to use Suse Live and just save documents and what not on a flash drive. Then I got thinking. Is there any way that I can save my preferences (network settings, applications and so forth) on a flash drive so I didn't have to use web messenger and type in my pass code for networking everytime. Any ideas. This live cd is actually at least 10 times faster than 9.3 was installed on a hard drive. I am completely impressed and can't wait to get a new harddrive to put the full version on! Any suggestions would be great!
