Hi all
Ive setup a Samba/PDC as per en.opensuse.org/Howto_setup_SUSE_10.1_as_Samba_PDC. The end result is all users can logon, see shares and home directories. They can see directory listings and create files. What they cant do is read back file content. All they get is access denied.
still you would require username and password to access the folder, and only users who have been added to the smb password list would able to access it, further try out diffrent folder permissions like 775 and this if it works out for you
