problem with kinternet


hello, I have a problem I have just installed suse10.1 It's perfectly running, the only problem is the internet dial up connection, the modem is detected but it can't enter in internet.
I tryed with kinternet but it begin to connect but after it gives me this error even if the usermname e password are correct:

Are you sure your username and password are correct? Also you might need to ask the ISP what type of authentication they use. There a two kinds:

PAP - Password Authentication Protocol

CHAP - Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol

They don't do the same job. Most are the former but kinternet does that by default. You could also just trial and error your way through it. If one doesn't work, then try the other. Who is your ISP?
