problem in suse 9.1


hello
the problem is when i change to root and i want create new folder in /mnt its say can not create new folder in /mnt
what can i do to do it
thanks

How did you attempt this? Are you sure you have root permissions?
I'd suggest to open a console and type
Code:
sudo mkdir /mnt/<whatever>
root's password:******
Should work just fine.

i do this but same erorr and it say you dont have permissions

How are the permissions set? Check with:
Code:
user@linux:~> cd /
user@linux:/> ll
...
drwxr-xr-x  2 root root   48 2006-08-08 12:51 mnt
...
