opensuse 11.4 rc2 Problem


i recenlty installed opensuse 11.4 rc2 live cd version

the gui looks similar to windows 98

the start menu works too slow
i was unable to find terminal too

does the live cd version contains less packages ?
how do i change its look ?

Suse 11.4 RC2.

Looks like Gnome ! Looks even more like Gnome, when the Theme is changed,
and a "Top panel" is added. The background can easily be changed too.

But : Did you use a "Gnome live cd", or was it "KDE" ? ?

The live cd installs 1283 packages.
Menu > More applications > GNOME terminal :
The command 'rpm -qa | sort > install-030311' will save the package list.

When the release version appears ( next week ? ), there will probably
be a DVD with more packages. But then again : If you install a lot,
you will just have to update them shortly after ?
