Does anybody know how to change the kmenu icon ? Suse comes with a suse icon as the kmenu icon and this applies for all icon themes.
I want to change this and use the default kmenu icon of the icon theme applied.
I am using kde 3.4.1, suse 9.2
No, It doesn't help.
In fact, I want to use this icon:
/opt/kde3/share/icons/crystalsvg/32x32/apps/kmenu.png
But although I have selected the crystalsvg icon theme, another icon with the suse logo is displayed.
The /usr/share/icons area does not contain kde icons.
yeah... i fiddled with this myself a while back. i wanted the default kde kmenu icon instead of the suse button (which I dont like the look of).
I'm at work at the moment, so I dont' have my suse machine in front of me. but its an icon called xxxxkmenu.png or something.
do a 'locate kmenu', and i think its called 32x32kmenu.png or something. there is the suse verion and a default kde version on your machine. replace the 32x32 and 64x64 versions with ones of your preference.
if thats not too helpful, let me know and ill write again from home with suse in front of me.
Ok, I found the icon. It's called SuSEmenu.png ,isn't it?
It's in /opt/kde3/share/icons/crystalsvg/size
I deleted it and renamed kmenu.png to SuSEmenu.png. Is that what I should do? I did the same for all sizes and for scaled icons. I rebooted, tried to reload the icon theme, but the icon is still the suse one. How?
