KDE Desktop Wizard?

On other KDE-based Linux distributions (Slackware, Fedora, etc.), the first time a user uses KDE, there is a KDE Desktop Wizard available. In addition, it is also available from the KDE menu.

It allows you to choose among several "schemes" such as Windows, Unix, Mac OS, etc. It includes windows settings, keyboard shortcuts, and other such features.

I would like to use Windows default settings (sorry, that's what I'm most comfortable with in a GUI). I have been able to adjust most settings to my liking, but I have unable to replicate the "single-click" action. By this, I mean that when browsing in Konqueror, currently, mouse over action selects a file, and a single-click opens the file. I would like single-click to select the file and double-click to open the file. These settings should also apply to the Desktop.

Apparently, there is no kpersonalizer in the SuSE KDE. Nor can I find it in YaST.

I suppose kpersonalizer corresponds to the wizard, so I'll have to do this double-click thing manually? I have no idea how to do this though, so further help is definitely welcome.

My partner has SuSE, and her KDE has the kpersonalizer binary.. Perhaps its just not in your path?

Well, anyways, the doubleclick option is under: kcontrol(KDE control panel) -> Peripherals -> Mouse

Thanks a lot for your help. "whereis kpersonalizer" returned nothing, and I didn't find anything in /opt/kde3/bin

There was also nothing in YaST. However, the double click option was basically the only thing I was looking for. Thanks for you help.

Apachedude,
Thank you for your info. I had done this once before, but forgot how to do it when I upgraded my OS.
