In the process of upgrading from 9.1 -> 10.0 (boxed)

Just as the subject states, I'm currently in the process of upgrading my old 9.1 box to 10.0. I know that some folks have had problems with upgrades, but hopefully mine will go smooth. Yes, I have backups of all my old stuff.

I have about 55 minutes remaining...... I'll keep you all posted with my progress.

Well, the update was almost a success. The system updated just fine, but I'm not able to get my USB mouse to work. I'm looking into the issue. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I need to do to get my mouse working correctly? I will continue to research my problem.

Bizzare. Have you tried reconfiguring the mouse with yast or sax2? I have had problems with USB keyboards and mice so just use PS2 now.

I have tried via console, but it will not work. Are there shortcut keys in KDE that can get me to the graphical versions of these tools?

Found the shortcuts.......

How in the world do I change the mouse type?

Problems all solved. I went into SAX2 graphically and was able to select the proper mouse setup. Thanks for your assistance.

Anyone know what to do? I've upgraded to Suse 10 using Logitech USB Mouse. Worked fine until booting into new system.

I know the mouse is connected and working from the command line:

cat /dev/input/mice shows activity while moving the mouse.

Can't get KDE to recognize it though. Tried Yast/Sax2 (with reboot) ...no luck

Any ideas?
